Scrapbook concerning the Napoleonic wars, 1814-1815.

Scrapbook containing newspaper clippings, many of which concern military and political events during the final two years of the Napoleonic Wars. While the first hundred pages of the album also contain many clippings on miscellaneous topics, such as articles on members of the royal family, nobles, and notorious criminals, the final fifty pages are entirely devoted to Napoleon's escape from Elba, his progress through France, the battle of Waterloo, and his surrender to the British.
